Protection of stray dogs
Since 2011, we've been on a mission to ease the suffering of stray dogs, but our journey is far from over. Despite our TNVR strategy's success in helping over 1000 dogs in the last two year, more than 200 still seek refuge in our modest shelter.
Our Project
In many regions across Africa, stray dogs face imminent danger from municipal services like "LA GALOUFA", which indiscriminately capture and slaughter these animals as a means of controlling populations and preventing the spread of diseases. This inhumane practice not only neglects the welfare of these creatures but also overlooks alternative,compassionate solutions.
Recognizing the urgent need for intervention, a group of dedicated activists has established an association committed to protecting and caring for stray dogs.
By harnessing the power of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, the POSD token seeks to empower this association financially and rally global support for their cause.
DEFINITION OF LA GALOUFA: municipal services which capture animals, in particular stray dogs and cats, and sometimes even domestic ones, to slaughter them systematically in order to avoid bites and the spread of diseases of all kinds

Get to Know Us
We are a non-profit organisation that is passionate about protecting stray dogs and fighting rabies, and we follow the proven TNVR strategy. Our shelter is home to around 200 dogs that can be visited voluntarily on Fridays.
It breaks our hearts to say that our shelter is in Staouili and we receive no government support. Every week we struggle to raise enough funds to care for the dogs, buy vaccines and rent the property, which costs dz 600,000 a year.
Our staff who look after the sensors and the welfare of the animals do this out of pure passion and dedication. But the reality is that we are juggling limited resources and are often stretched to our limits.
